We commit our best people to the problems we choose. Our engineers hold PhDs, MScs and BScs across aerospace, mechanical, electrical, materials, control and software engineering, and we bring this mix to problems that span domains: drivetrain physics that needs both electromagnetic and structural analysis, control systems that need both modelling and embedded software, validation that needs both lab measurement and digital twins.
We present the team as a capability, not a gallery. These are the disciplines we keep in-house, so that the science at TRL 0 to TRL 3 is ours before a partner is ever involved.
High-fidelity FEA and CFD with two-way coupling across electromagnetic, fluid, thermal and structural physics — simulation that turns concepts into manufacturable, test-validated hardware.
CFD Fluids simulates fluid dynamics, enhancing engineering solutions for optimised performance.
Create reliable and efficient designs with production-proven multiphysics analysis.
Robust structural analysis for engineering precision and durability.
3D Design enables comprehensive design visualisation and prototyping capabilities.
An extensive virtual-prototyping campaign precedes every physical build, typically reducing physical iterations by close to an order of magnitude. Prototyping channels (CNC, laser and EDM) are set up at project start. From validated prototype onward, industrialisation runs through partner supply chains. We are not a contract manufacturer.
The portfolio is the asset. Wattrogen Labs builds defensible IP at the point where physics meets manufacturability, the hardest part to design around, then licenses it to the manufacturers who industrialise it. Patents are not a trophy; they are how a research result becomes an OEM's differentiated product.
Wattrogen Labs runs a multi-channel deep-tech model. We do not sell a single product. We build defensible IP and validated engineering, and bring it to industry through channels that reinforce each other: the research feeds the IP; the IP and validation feed licensing, co-development and services.
License patented drivetrain, control and power-electronics technologies to manufacturers and OEMs seeking a differentiated next-generation platform.
Co-develop platforms with industrial partners, from validated models to field-tested systems, with shared IP arrangements where they fit.
Impartial, cross-disciplinary engineering: multiphysics simulation, load-case analysis, drivetrain optimisation, control design and validation roadmaps. Detailed under Capabilities.
Demonstrate performance with industrial sites, energy operators and distributed-energy users, with monitoring and independent performance validation.
Build patents around drivetrains, controls, variable mechanisms, generator integration and system optimisation. The portfolio is the asset.
Structure and lead EU and national grant consortia that move technologies from the idea stage through the TRL 3 to TRL 6 gap toward industry.
Industry is not a customer at the end of the line. We work with industrial partners to translate patented research into validated technologies, combining simulation, prototyping, field testing and licensing. The five-step path maps onto the same TRL phases that run through every programme.
These are the formal, contractually bound partners of the Wattrogen Labs R&D consortium. They are not ad-hoc project contributors. Every university, research institute, and industry partner listed operates under permanent joint research and development agreements, establishing a structured, long-term European deep-tech alliance.

A future where energy systems adapt to changing conditions, converting more from the same resource with less mechanical stress, lower maintenance and longer life. If you are building toward that, we should talk.
We work with OEMs and manufacturers, energy developers and operators, universities and research institutes, and technical investors across Europe. If you have hard-engineering work that needs research depth, multiphysics modelling, prototype validation, or a route from physics to industry-ready pilot, get in touch.
